KATHERINE O'CONNOR - $8000 KIRTLAND HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP:

Katie O'Connor will soon be entering her fourth year at the Cleveland Institute of Art, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She's begun work on a graphic novel which will serve as her senior year thesis when she graduates in 2013, and plans on seeking a career in graphic design and storyboarding. Katie has also been president of CIA's Campus Activities Board since 2010 and is very involved in student life, promoting and facilitating many of CIA's student events.
