CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2008 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER!

Krysta Tongel is the recipient of the Christopher R. Howell Memorial Foundation 2008 college scholarship. Krysta graduated from Kirtland High School Class of 2008 and plans to attend Akron University this fall where she will pursue a degree in Nursing.


Krysta’s involvement in activities, both in and out of the classroom, is indicative of the values and self-motivation she possesses. She has been actively involved during her years at KHS and has brought her positive attitude and exuberant spirit to each endeavor in which she participates. Her inner strength, determination and compassion toward others have made her a role model for many and an ideal candidate for this scholarship.

We are confident Krysta will make a wonderful nurse and we wish her luck in pursuing her dream of helping others.
