| CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2007 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER! Joanna Podrasky is the recipient of The Christopher R. Howell Memorial Foundation 2010 college scholarship. Joanna graduated from Kirtland High School on June 3, 2007 and plans to attend The Ohio State University this fall. Joanna embodies the spirit that our foundation wishes to foster as demonstrated by her inner strength and outstanding work ethic. In addition to her excellent academic performance while at KHS, Joanna has approached her total education with passion, diligence and integrity. She has been active in Japanese Club, Key Club, National Honor Society and has played the flute in the KHS band since her freshman year. Joanna’s quiet personal strength, humility and compassion are an inspiration to all who know her. She is respected by her peers and her teachers and she is seen as that faithful student-soldier who stands ready to offer her help whenever and wherever it is needed. Please join us in congratulating Joanna and wishing her the very best at The Ohio State University this fall and for many years to come. |
